Dario Amara is a building and construction executive with more than four decades of business leadership experience gained in Australia and internationally.

He specialises in leading construction and building entities and projects across all market sectors. His experience spans the building, infrastructure, industrial, naval and property sectors, with a total value of delivered projects over $12B.

He has a passion for construction and engineering and the positive impact that it brings to society. Many of the projects that Dario has been involved with have received industry peak body excellence awards or corporate commendations.

Dario’s commenced with Whittens in 2014 and he values the strong and grounded business acumen it demonstrates and the family behind it.

He is excited about Whittens’ limitless potential because of its rare ability to be able to mobilise a highly loyal and dedicated workforce who are self-motivated to work safely and productively.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Engineering – Civil (with Distinction), Curtin University
• A Fellow of the Institution of Engineers Australia
• Registered Building Practitioner and Building Contractor, Western Australia Chartered Professional Engineer, on the National Engineers Register,
• APEC Engineer, IntPE(Aust)
